Tho I think this just could be a promo pic as the helmets that were used in the show were actually the lost in space helmets plus a mystery suit that I`d love to know the story on.
The cool thing about this pic is that you can just see some of the visors new internal hinge setup that was likely done for escape from planet of the apes.
Another appearance is in the 1980 film The Ninth Configuration by William Peter Blatty of the exorcist fame,this is based on his novel twinkle twinkle killer caine.Its ot the complete suit only the suit body without the original helmet,fro some reason its been fitted with a rather crude looking helmet with a fixed visor sporting a very large collar/neck piece.Interestingly it also features another fairly well known suit,the apollo type suit from Earth 2,this suit shows up in a truly bizarre sequence involving a crucifixion......on the moon![no,I`m not making that up]

Oddly, I finally watched Ninth Configuration about a month back. very entertaining stuff. blogged it a while ago but will have to maybe go back and revise it. Ill follow the other link and see what I can see.
