According to Toonpedia, Drift Marlo "The Space Detective" was a newspaper strip about the head of security at a major NASA facility. Looks like it's a spy story with a space theme.

Yes. I read he was more detective than spaceman. Named Marlo after Philip Marlowe, apparently!
